Trusted Site and Certificate
In order to sign into MyCoyote, you will need to download and install the CSU San Bernardino Root CA Certificate into your web browser,
and then add the CSU San Bernardino website to the trusted site in your web browser.
How to download and install the Root Certificate into your web browser?
- How to download the Root Certificate?
- Go to the Information Security Office web site.
- Click on the Download link.
- Click on the Certificates and PKI link under the Digital Certificate Resources category.
- Click on the Root certificate link under CSU San Bernardino Root Certificate category.
- How to install Root Certificate?
- After clicking the Root certificate link, you will see a message box prompted on the screen.
Then click on the Save button to save this file to your local computer.
- Go to the file location and then double click on the icon or the file name.
- Click on the Open button.
- Click on the Install Certificate … button.
- Click on the Next > button.
- Click on the Next > button.
- Click on the Finish button.
- Click on the OK button.
- Click on the OK button to close the Certificate window. Then you have successfully installed the CSU San Bernardino Root Certificate.
How to add the CSUSB website to the trusted site in your web browser?
- Open your IE web browser and then click on the Tools tab.
- Select the Internet Options … option from the Tools drop down list.
- Click on the Security tab.
- Click on the Trusted sites icon to specify the security settings.
- Click on the Sites … button.
- Add https://*.csusb.edu in the Web sites text box. Then click on the Add button.
- Click on the Close button.
- Click on the OK button to close the Internet Options window. Then you have successfully added the CSUSB website to the trusted site in your web browser.
